What Scriptal is
Scriptal (operated by Andy Stearman) provides done-for-you analysis of call transcripts. Customers purchase an analysis, send transcripts, and receive finished reports through a private portal and downloadable files.
What we collect
- Account and order information: your name, email address, and payment records (processed by Stripe; we never see or store full card numbers).
- Your transcripts: the conversation files you upload for analysis, plus the optional business context you provide (business name, description, team names, industry).
- Generated reports and extracted data: the analysis outputs we produce for you.
- Usage basics: standard web logs and email delivery records (whether our emails to you sent successfully).
How we use it
- To produce and deliver your analysis. That is the whole job.
- To operate your portal sign-in and send you transactional email (order confirmations, delivery notices, sign-in links).
- To respond when you contact us.
We do not use your transcripts to train AI models. We do not sell your data. We do not share it with anyone except the processors below.
Processors we rely on
- Stripe for payments.
- Supabase (PostgreSQL and object storage) for the database, file storage, and portal authentication. Data encrypted at rest and in transit.
- Anthropic (Claude API) to perform the analysis. Transcript content is processed under API terms that do not permit training on your data.
- Amazon Web Services (SES) for transactional email.
- Vercel for hosting.
Retention and deletion
Your transcripts, extracted data, and reports are retained so your portal keeps working and so we can re-run or extend your analysis if you ask. You can request deletion of everything at any time by emailing hello@scriptal.io; we delete within 30 days. Billing records are retained as legally required.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, correct it, or delete it at any time. EU customers: we will sign a data processing agreement on request.
